Growing up, my Mom was the one who always had the camera taking snapshots at family events. We would go camping in Yosemite every June and I would take the bus to Curry Village to look at the photos in the Ansel Adams Gallery there. I would hike around the valley looking at the beauty and think about the photos in the gallery. 

I got my first camera as a young teenager. It was very basic, but I loved it. I took my inspiration from Ansel Adams and hiked all over the Yosemite Valley attempting to capture its beauty. From that point on I was hooked. My dream of traveling the world trying to capture the beauty I see was born.
